Ditch “As Featured In”: 70 Better Ways to Show Off Your Press & Credibility

Look, we’ve all used “as featured in” on our website from time to time. Lord knows it’s a headline sitting on my website somewhere. It’s good. It’s grand. It gets the job done.

But like many overused phrases, it’s easy for your customers to scroll right past it without a second glance.

This is known as ad blindness, or banner blindness – when your reader consciously or unconsciously ignores certain elements on a webpage. It happens most often with things that look like ads, but can also happen when scrolling through headlines they’ve seen a million times.

This is why, as a brand voice copywriter, I’m always helping clients find new and unusual ways to say the same ordinary thing. Not only does it build connection and differentiation in the long run, but it can also help peek your ideal reader’s attention, like, right now.

In this case, whether you're a rebel startup, sophisticated luxury brand, or playful skincare company, the right words can turn boring press mentions into powerful social proof.

So here are 70 better ways to say “as featured in” to help you show off your press and credibility on your website.
